Charitable Status

As an independent educational charitable incorporated organisation, Democratys exists to promote public understanding of the UK’s democratic processes and how those processes can be interfered with to the detriment of the public through conducting and disseminating research. 

We will achieve these objectives by commissioning intelligence-gathering operations and other relevant research relevant to the charity’s aims. The charity will be a neutral voice with rigorous safeguards in place to ensure objectivity in its research. 

We will make the majority of our research findings publicly available through publishing them in a number of different formats, as well as organising lectures, seminars and public meetings. 

We are governed by a Board of Trustees who set the strategy for the organisation and are accountable for its compliance and oversight.
